Delivery Information and Cost
At Guildford Marine we want to offer you a fast, efficient and hassle free service, so to do this we have only put regular stock items onto our site.
Once you have chosen the goods that you require and bought them we will send you a confirmation e-mail.
From this point onwards orders cannot be cancelled, and we will do our utmost to despatch the goods ordered as quickly as possible. However in some instances we may not have the required stock levels to complete your order. If this is the case then we will e-mail you to let you know which items have gone onto back order. We will despatch all of the items that are in stock. Back ordered items would be sent onto you as soon as we receive them, should you wish to cancel this, a refund will be made to your card. All UK back ordered goods will be delivered carriage free. If however you feel that you cannot wait for any back ordered goods, then upon receipt of our e-mail you may reply to it cancelling all back orders, however this must be done within forty-eight (48) hours.
Before confirming your order you will be advised of the total cost of goods and its associated carriage charges. Once you have accepted this you will incur no further costs. Guildford Marine does however reserve the right to alter prices without prior notice
We endeavour to display products and information featured on this Website correctly. However, there may be occasions when some of the information may be incomplete, inaccurate, or contain typographical errors.
Such errors are unintentional and we reserve the right to amend them without prior notice. We disclaim to the fullest extent permitted by law, all warranties, conditions and representations concerning the information on this site.
Payment Security Over The Internet
Our website will not ask you for any personal details until you have confirmed the contents of your basket and have proceeded to the checkout.
Our payment system utilises SagePay Payment Provider. This service is supported by all the major banks, and to enable further security you may be asked to complete 3D check's when your card issuer supports it.
All prices quoted throughout this site are prices including VAT (where appropriate) ex delivery, a breakdown of the net price, VAT, and carriage charges is shown in the shopping basket (located in the bottom left hand corner of the screen).
If you are ordering goods for delivery outside of the European Union you will not have to pay VAT and this will be clearly displayed in the shopping basket
Guildford Marine will not sell or rent your personally identifiable information to anyone.
Guildford Marine will only send personally identifiable information about you to other companies or people when:
- We have your consent to share the information;
- We need to share your information to provide the product or service you have requested;
- We need to send the information to companies who work on behalf of Guildford Marine to provide a product or service to you. (Unless we tell you differently, these companies do not have any right to use the personally identifiable information we provide to them beyond what is necessary to assist us.);
- We respond to subpoenas, court orders or legal process;
If you find that an item is defective, or that we have made an error in compiling your order then you may return it to us for an exchange or a refund. In this situation, we will be happy to refund any UK postage costs incurred in returning the item to us, and we will resend the item to a UK address carriage free.
We will also accept returns for unwanted goods provided that they are in a new and unused condition. In this situation we will give you a full refund for the item, however we will be unable to credit any costs incurred for carriage.
To return any goods you must email us within fourteen (14) days of receipt of the order, with your name and address and the item(s) being returned. All goods should be well packed, as we cannot accept responsibility for goods damaged during transit. With each return, you should also include a note giving your name, address, a list of the items returned and a brief description of why you are returning them. For health & safety reasons some products can not be posted via Royal Mail's letter post for example: Flares, Gelcoat, Paints and Varnish.
For any order that involves a restricted item, postage will be charged at the courier rate, and the whole order will be delivered by courier.
All goods supplied through Guildford Marine come with their associated manufacturer's warranty terms.
